Final Backing Adhesive 1kg

The Final Backing Adhesive is a medium viscosity multipurpose carpet binder formulated for applying final backing, sealing carpet edges, carpet binding tape application, strengthening or binding worn backing. It provides superb adhesive strength and dries flexible. Due to its thickness, it does not seep through or stain fabric. Unlike PVA glue, it does not crumble over time. This product is also suitable for pre-coat process, however due to the price, we recommend using our Latex Binder for pre-coat. Our adhesives are manufactured for professional tufted carpet applications, used by carpet manufacturers.

Application:
-For final backing application, dilute final backing adhesive with 10-20% water, apply evenly on tufted surface with a roller, put on final backing and let dry.
-For carpet binding tape or brand logo application, prepare and cut carpet edges, apply tiny beads of adhesive to the carpet binding tape or the backing, smooth out adhesive and join both parts together. You’ll only need a little to achieve maximum adhesive strength

Use this product with our final backing or anti-slip final backing.

Specification
Base: High solid content vinyl
Color: White gel-like liquid, dries to a translucent film form
Clean-up: Remove wet adhesive with water and soap. Dried adhesive may be difficult to remove, take care to remove adhesive from surface before it dries.
Shelf-life: 1 year from date of manufacture in unopened container when stored at cool & dry place.
Once opened, it is best to finish within 6 months. To extend shelf life, pour adhesive into a separate container to use, do not cross contaminate.
